Petritoli’s library is located in the former site of the Town Hall. Its name commemorates the distinguished ethnographer and history scholar Luigi Mannocchi (1855-1936), who was born in Petritoli. The Library has a holdings of about 15,000 volumes, enriched by public and private donations. Significant collections include works by Petritoli authors and anastatic copies of writings by Luigi Mannocchi, the Guerriero Passamonti music collection, and a local documentation section with materials on Petritoli and the Piceno region.
