Borghi Maestri Festival 2026
Amid live music, street theater, juggling, soap bubbles and international performances, Petritoli is preparing to experience a weekend of culture and entertainment with the first event of Borghi Maestri Festival, scheduled for June 6 and 7 in the heart of the Marche village.
The festival, created within the urban and cultural regeneration project promoted thanks to PNRR – Next Generation EU funds, will transform squares, alleys and symbolic places of Petritoli into a large open-air diffuse stage, where art and community come together to create a unique experience between entertainment and territorial enhancement.
Opening the weekend will be, Saturday June 6, La Rua’s live concert at Valmir di Petritoli. An evening of music and emotions immersed in the evocative atmosphere of the Marche hills, with one of the most beloved bands of the contemporary Italian folk-pop scene.
Sunday June 7, the historic center will instead become a true traveling art trail. At the Iris Theater, at 7 p.m., ” U.MANI.TÀ” by Jacopo Tealdi, a figure theater show capable of moving young and old through poetic and evocative images.
From 7:30 p.m. until midnight, Via Tornabuoni will host “LaBOLLAtorio” by Mastro Bolla, a workshop-show dedicated to the enchantment of soap bubbles, designed to involve families and children in an atmosphere of magic and lightness.
Music will take center stage in Largo Leopardi with live performances by Rubba Dubba, who will bring roots reggae and ska sounds to the stage with two performances scheduled at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Also in Largo Leopardi, at 9 p.m., space will be given to the spectacular juggling of Argentine artist Mencho Sosa, while at 10 p.m. Teatro dell’Iride will welcome the poetic and surreal comedy of Víctor Ávalos with the show “Tomate Puro Tomate.”
All events will be free admission, thus offering citizens and visitors a chance to experience the village through art, music and entertainment spread through the historic streets of the village.
Borghi Maestri Festival thus confirms itself as an event capable of combining entertainment, culture and territorial identity, enhancing the Valdaso villages through contemporary artistic languages and an international program designed for all ages.
The festival will then continue with the second weekend scheduled for June 13 and 14 in Monte Vidon Combatte, where contemporary circus, live music, visual theater and international performances will enliven the village amidst squares, gardens and scenic vistas nestled in the Marche hills.
